How to Assign a Provider to a Booking

There are several ways to assign a provider to a booking in ScheduleDrop. You can do it when you first create the booking, after the booking is already saved, or through the Schedule Blast feature. This article walks through each method.

Option 1: Assign a Provider When Creating a Booking

You can assign a provider at the moment you create a new booking.

  1. Click Create Booking.

  2. Scroll down to the Provider section.

  3. Click Add Provider.

  4. Select the provider you want to assign.

  5. Click Add Selected Provider.

  6. Set the provider's payment type — Fixed, Percentage, or Hourly — depending on how you want to pay them.

  7. Enter the payment amount in the box next to the payment type.

Option 2: Assign a Provider to an Existing Booking

If a booking has already been saved, you can still add or change the provider.

  1. Go to View Bookings.

  2. Open the booking you want to update.

  3. Scroll down to the Provider section.

  4. Click Add Provider.

  5. Select the provider's name.

  6. Choose the payment type (Fixed, Percentage, or Hourly) and enter the amount.

  7. Save the booking.

When you save, you'll be given the option to apply the provider to:

  • Just this booking, or

  • All future bookings for that customer

Choose whichever fits the situation.

Option 3: Assign a Provider Through Schedule Blast

The third way to assign a provider is through the Schedule Blast feature. Schedule Blast has its own dedicated video and help article that walks through it in detail.
