"Actions" Button – Everything You Can Do with this button in the booking details

The Actions button gives you a set of tools to manage a booking after it's been created — from duplicating it, to adding charges, sending payment links, issuing refunds, and canceling. This article walks through each option and when to use it.

Where to Find the Actions Button

  1. Go to Bookings in the main menu.

  2. Click View Bookings.

  3. Open any booking (past or future).

  4. The Actions button is located in the top right of the booking.

Every booking has an Actions menu available.

Available Actions

Duplicate Booking

Creates a copy of the booking with the same information. This is useful when you need to create a new booking that shares most details with an existing one — for example, the same service and customer but a different price.

Give Tip

Adds a tip to the provider on the customer's behalf. Use this if a customer asks you to apply a tip for them rather than adding it themselves.

Create Additional Charge

Adds an extra charge to the booking for anything that wasn't included in the original price (for example, add-on services or extra time).

Send Message

Opens the conversation view for the customer so you can send them a message directly.

Send Add Card Link

Sends the customer a secure link they can use to add a card to the booking.

This is useful when a customer isn't comfortable giving card information over the phone. In that case:

  1. Save the booking as a cash booking.

  2. Click ActionsSend Add Card Link.

  3. Once the customer adds their card through the link, it will be attached to the booking automatically.

Send Booking Confirmation

Resends the booking confirmation to the customer. A confirmation is sent automatically when the booking is first created, but if any details change you can use this option to send an updated one.

Send Receipt

Sends the customer a receipt for the booking once it's completed. Works for both card payments and cash bookings.

Refund

Issues a refund to the customer. You can choose to issue a partial refund or a full refund depending on the situation.

Cancel

Cancels the booking. Use this option whenever a booking needs to be canceled.
