How to Manage Scheduled Notifications (SMS, Email & In-App)

The Scheduled Notifications hub controls every automated message your customers and providers receive. Edit, deactivate, or build custom notifications in seconds.

Click MessagingScheduled Notifications

1. Use Filters to Find Anything Instantly

Right sidebar:

  • Channel: SMS / Email / In-App

  • Recipient: Customer / Provider / Admin

  • Event Type: Before Booking Starts / After Completion / Invoice Paid / etc.

Click Apply → only the notifications that you want appear will be visible based off of these filters.

2. Edit Any Message

  1. Click the three dots to the right of the notification → Click Edit

  2. Drag the corner to make the editor huge (Easier to edit message this way)

  3. Type your new wording

  4. Insert variables (click Select) → {{first_name}}, {{booking_date}}, {{total_amount}}, etc. Insert any variable that you need that we have available for you.

  5. Save Changes

3. Turn Notifications On/Off in Bulk

  1. Check the box to the left of the notification

  2. Click Quick Actions

  3. Click Activate or Deactivate

4. Create a Custom Notification (Example: Instant SMS when invoice is paid)

  1. Click Add Notification

  2. Notification Type: SMS (or Email/In-App)

  3. Event Type: Invoice Payment Received

  4. Delay: Immediately

  5. Send To: Admin (or specific admin / customer / provider)

  6. Message:
    Hey {{first_name}}, an invoice for {{total_amount}} was just paid!

  7. Click Create Notification

Done—every future payment triggers that exact message automatically. This is just an example above. You can create any notification that you need depending on the event type that you select. Please watch the video above to guide you through the process.

Pro tip: Use the filters on the right hand side to only look at the notifications that you want to see. That way you can edit notifications easily
