In Schedulista, In addition to the time range, the name of the client, and the service on the appointment blocks on your calendar on the web app and in the mobile app, there are other handy symbols that quickly tell you information about an appointment at a glance.

Contents:

Note page - Client comments & appointment notes

web app

mobile app

A small note page may appear in the upper right corner of the appointment block to indicate the appointment has notes. If you have notes on the client record, the note page will also appear on an appointment.

Any information entered into the Comments section of the scheduling details page when clients book online will appear here in the Appointment Notes section.  You can also add notes to this section.

On the web app, hovering over an appointment block with the notes symbol allows you to preview the appointment notes and/or the client notes. On the web app or in the mobile app, you can also click or tap on the appointment to open it to view full details, including any notes.

Gold star - New or first-time client

On occasion, a gold star (or asterisk) will appear to the left of a client's name in the appointment block.  This signifies that the client is a new / first-time client.

The gold star will remain next to the client's name on any appointment they schedule until their first appointment has been completed.

Repeat circle - repeating appointment in series

web app

mobile app

When you set a repeating appointment, two arrows forming a small circle will appear in the upper right corner of the appointment block of every repeating instance of the appointment.

Slashed repeat circle - Altered appointment in repeating series

web app

mobile app

If you reschedule a single appointment of a repeating series, a slash will appear in the repeat circle in the upper right corner of the appointment block of that specific appointment.  All other appointments in the series will retain the standard circle.

Fraction - Class attendance

web app

mobile app

A fraction that appears to the left of the service name for a class signifies the number of spots filled of the max capacity of the class.  (e.g., 4/10 = 4 spots filled out of 10 max capacity)

Dollar sign - Paid appointment

web app

mobile app

If you have set up your account to take payments from clients through the online scheduler, a dollar sign ($) will appear in the upper right corner for any appointment where a client has paid.

The dollar sign represents all payments.  The symbol does not change to match your local currency.

Credit card capture

If you use the credit card capture option, the payment symbol will not appear on an appointment, even if you manually create a payment through Stripe for the appointment.  You can indicate in appointment notes that a payment has been made.
