How does scholarship application work

For some scholarships, you’ll be able to apply with one click. That’s it - one click! No essays, motivation letters, additional documents, etc. These are the so-called “no requirement” scholarships.

They are super easy to apply for - but they’re also extremely popular. Due to very high competition, however, they can be quite difficult to win since you could be competing with more than 100,000 students over 1 scholarship.

Other scholarships require you to put in a bit of work: submit an essay with your application, or provide additional documents (transcripts, student ID, proof of enrollment, proof of acceptance and alike). Our platform does make these things easier, but it’s not a one-click application. You have to put in a bit of work.

Although the above-mentioned scholarships require effort, they also give you a better chance of winning! Your story or a well-crafted essay can easily stand out to a scholarship provider. And, as a rule of thumb, fewer people apply for them, so there’s less competition. Odds are that (hard) work really, really pays off.

We recommend you apply for scholarships that require you to do some work as they will give you an opportunity to shine, stand out and win.
