Every scholarship has its own deadline, but only some announce when they reveal the winner. Remember that a provider may be reviewing hundreds to THOUSANDS of applications after the deadline! They also go through the elimination process and re-read essays. This often takes a few weeks, sometimes even months.

So you see how this can probably take longer than expected.

When a winner is decided the scholarship provider will always contact the winner directly; some providers even send an email to all the applicants, letting them know a winner was selected.

If you haven’t received your winning call or email, don’t despair! There are plenty of other scholarship opportunities! Channel your energy into applying to other scholarships for greater chances of winning.
