The Similarity engine suggests similar scholarship opportunities based on scholarships you’ve already applied for. That reduces the amount of time you spend submitting applications, but also the time and energy needed to search through matches and decide what to apply for next.

Thanks to the Similarity feature, you can take an immediate next step in your process of scholarship application and completely avoid repeating the process of searching through the entire Matches list.

How does it work?

  1. Find a scholarship you’re interested in and complete your application.

  2. After you hit Confirm & send application, you’ll see the ”Application sent!” notification on the next screen.

  3. Below that notification, you’ll see the “Based on your latest application” message with additional scholarships as suggestions.

Here, the Similarity engine offers another useful feature: the Save for later option. If you’re not able to apply for a new scholarship right away, you can save it for later and revisit it when you have time.

Similarity displays suggestions on this one screen only, so if you cannot apply immediately, make sure to save them. Otherwise, you will need to manually search for those scholarships in the Matches list.

You can find your saved scholarships by clicking on the Saved tab in the left sidebar.

The Similarity engine selects similar scholarships in terms of scholarship description, requirement type, and description, including essay topics. This way, you can repurpose your existing documentation and essays and save even more time when applying for scholarships.
