You can get certified from the Get Certified page, or by clicking on a subject you want to tutor from the My Tutoring tab. Certifications fall into 2 categories:
1. Video Certifications: for qualifying Math and Science subjects, you can submit a video of you completing a Khan Academy Unit Test, if you would like to certify in a specific unit, or Course Challenge, if you would like to certify in the entire course, with explanations. You must score a 90% or above on the corresponding assessment to get certified.
2. Honorary Certifications: You may demonstrate content mastery through a high score on a corresponding AP or SAT Suite assessment. For AP courses, you must score a 4 or 5. For the SAT or PSAT, you must score a 700 or higher in the subsection you would like to certify in.
You can view all video certifications you have earned in your portfolio, which is found by selecting your profile, then "My Portfolio" as shown below:
Please note that honorary certifications are not included in your portfolio.
