After registering your camera, you can confirm the film-to-stats alignment process to learn how ScoreBreak is going to handle your live stats and video after your event. This is a good process to go through for new customers or existing customers with a new camera.

You’ll need your camera, recording media like an SD card, necessary import adapters, and a device with the ScoreBreak application installed.

First you’ll create a practice for today’s date, which you will later delete after confirmation. Next, get your camera ready to record the screen of the device you created the practice on. On your device, within todays practice, enter Live Tagging.

Start recording the screen of your device as you take some live tags. Specifically, tag a few goals with about 10 seconds between them. This will give enough video to confirm alignment.

After the final goal is statted, end the recording on your camera. Take out the SD card and begin the import process to ScoreBreak. The film will be imported to the practice you just took live stats on, under the registered camera angle you’ve already created. At the end of the import process you’ll have an Alignment Verification process which allows you to adjust the automatic alignment for precision-adjustments.

Go into the practice and you should see your goals and stats aligned to your button clicks in the video. Please note that goal alignment should be about 12 seconds into the blue brick on your scrubber.

If you don't see your goals and stats, contact us again and we will let you know how to "nudge" your camera angle, then we will register that nudge!
