Once the Coaching Session has been created following our Coaching Session Creation guide, it is time to add detail to the session.
Detailing the Coaching Session
Fill in the Coaching Session details on the right-hand side of the Overview page in Coaching.
Session Topics can be added and edited from the Topics Editor in the Coaching page.
To add further questions to the Coaching Session, select the ‘+ Add Question’ button.
Once the detail is filled in, choose ‘Save’.
Note: Coaching Session Name, Coachee and Coaching Period are mandatory fields that must be filled in before adding questions to the session, and before saving the session.
Choosing the Discussion Template
Under Discussion, select the Discussion Template to be used for the Coaching Session.
The default discussion template follows the GROW coaching model which is broken down into four sections. An explanation of each section can be read under the section title. More information can be found at this Wikipedia link.
Note: The default discussion template can be changed under Session Configuration
Populate the fields as required and select ‘Share and Notify’ to inform the Coachee that their Coaching Session has been added or updated.
Adding Tasks to the Coaching Session
Under Tasks, the Coach can add and manage Coachee tasks.
Select ‘+ Add Task’ and fill in the Task name, Task Description, Due Date, Task Priority and Task Status.
Coachees can track their Tasks through the Agent Dashboard, and Coaches can track their Coachee’s progress through the Supervisor Dashboard.
Concluding the Coaching Session
Under Conclusion, the Coach and Coachee can leave feedback through the free text fields and upload attachments or files if required.
Note: There is an option to disable Coachee comments and file uploads in the Session Configuration page.
When the Coach has finished adding their comments and attachments to the Coaching Session, they can select to ‘Share and Notify’.
The Coach will be given the options to alert the Coachee, alert the Coachee’s Supervisor or to alert other users. The 'alert other users' option allows the Coach to notify any users who have access to the agent in Scorebuddy of the session.
Select the desired option and click ‘Share Session’.
Once the Session is shared with the Coachee, they can go in, add their comments and Acknowledge the Session.
When the Coachee has added their comments and acknowledged the Coaching Session, the status will change from Open to Acknowledged.
This concludes the Coaching Session workflow.
