Live / Media from FTP - Camera Setup

This section is to help you set up your camera for FTP connection so you can send live media to ScorePlay.

Step 1 - Phone internet connection

The first part involves connecting your camera to the internet, so that it can send live media. For this you should use your mobile phone as an internet hotspot.

Step 2 - Connect your camera to the internet

Next you have to connect your camera to your mobile phone wifi.

Step 3 - Configure FTP

Now that your camera is connected to the internet through your phone we can continue with the setup of the FTP server.

  • Find the “Connect to FTP” option on our camera

  • For the “address” you can enter

    • Europe: eu-ftp.scoreplay.io OR 13.37.139.194

    • NA: ftp.media.scoreplay.io

  • For the "Login" and "Password"

    • Your login details should be provided by your account manager. If you're missing those details, please reach out to your account manager.

  • Select the correct “Root folder” you want to upload to.

  • Connect

Step 4 - Configure transfer settings

Now that you are successfully connected you must configure how to send media. You don’t want every picture you shoot to be sent, you want to have to press the SET button when you are seeing the picture on your camera for it to be sent.
