Add your first users to ScorePlay

1. Click "Setup"

Navigate to the Users section.

3. Click "New"

4. Click "User type" and select an option from the dropdown

The first step is to define the user type according to the role/permissions needed. You will find all the available options in this dropdown.

5. Generate an invite manually or through a signup link

You will now be presented with the option of generating an invite manually or through a signup link.

6. Fill out name and email address

First, we'll cover the manual invite process. Start by filling out the name and email address of the new user.

7. Toggle the 'Requires validation' option to Yes or No as needed.

To manage if a user will require any of their uploaded content to be validated before being pushed to the media library, use the "requires validation" option.

8. If required, set up tag-based rules for content permissions

If required, you can set up tag-based rules which will enable or restrict the user's access to media associated with the specified tags.

9. Click "Confirm"

Click "Confirm" to finish the account creation process.

10. Alternatively, click "Signup link"

Alternatively, you can generate a signup link through which a user or multiple users will be able to fill out their details themselves.

11. Manage the account creation validation requirement and click 'Copy link'

Choose whether any account created through the generated link requires admin approval. Once you're ready, click 'copy link' to copy it to your clipboard.

12. Fill out Name, Email and Password

Share the link with the new user(s) and they will be redirected to a page to fill out their name, email address and password.

13. Click "Status" and filter by "Pending"

To validate a new account as an admin, simply filter by the Pending status on the Users page.

14. Click "Validate" or "Reject"

Now that you are able to easily see any pending account requests, decide whether to validate or reject the request by clicking the corresponding button.
