The External Groups page allows you to manage all your external users such as partners, sponsors or media partners (rights holders, broadcasters, ...).
1. Click "External groups"
In 'Distribution', access the "External groups' section
2. Click "New"
Initiate a new entry.
3. Fill the company name and logo
Add the company name and logo
4. Confirm the user type
Choose the user type, such as Sponsor or Broadcaster
5. Confirm the text to detect
Enter the text to identify for sponsor automated detection
6. Click "Submit"
Submit your new external group.
7. Use the search bar
Search for a specific external group with the search bar.
8. Select the group
Click on any external group to access it
9. Edit the tag access if needed
Per default, sponsors access the content where their brand has been tagged, however it can be customised to give them wider access to your media library
10. Add more tags if you want
Here, the users associated with Pepsi would also access every content tagged with 'training'
11. Apply to all users
You can apply your tag access rules to all users associated with the external group at once
12. Click "Media"
The 'Media' tab gives you a preview of the files available to this external group
13. Preview the media available
You can search in the 'Media' tab as well
14. Click "Invite"
You can easily invite new users associated with this specific external group
15. Enter the user info
Complete the user information
16. Click "Confirm"
Confirm the action.
17. You can also use"Signup link"
Alternatively, you can generate a sign up link and send it to the users for them to auto-register
18. Click "Confirm"
Confirm the creation of your new user
19. Your user is now added!
Your user is now listed in the external group
20. Set an external group as inactive
You can easily disable a sponsor if you want to make it inactive
21. Select 'deactivate'
We recommend disabling an external group over deleting it
