The four LED lights on the front panel of your Scout have a number of different sequences to help indicate certain successes, failures, and statuses. Use the helpful guide and videos below to better understand your Scout's current status.

2. Successful Connection - Everything is good go!
When Scout has a succesfull conenction to the GPS and cellular network, the lights will blink quickly at the same time. Watch the video below for an example of a Scout that has a good connections across the board:

3. Trouble Connecting To the Network
When your Scout has trouble connecting to either the GPS, cellular, or bluetooth networks, the corresponding light will flash... slowly.

Notice that the GPS light (second from the right) continues to blink very slowly, while the batter and cellular lights (first two from the left) begin to blink quickly.
If you are experiencing issues getting your Scout to connect with the GPS network, remember to go outside, turn your Scout off, and reboot the device. It is important to find a location free of trees, tall buildings, and any obstructions between your Scout and the open sky.
