Add polygons and locations by linking your Google My Maps to your survey.
Set up a Google My Maps on mymaps.google.com. Once the map is ready to be loaded into ScoutSpace, find the URL at the top of the screen.
Note: click "+Share" on your Google My Maps and make sure to turn on "Anyone with this link can view".
In the URL, find point #1: "mid=" and find point #2: "&ll". Copy the sequence of numbers and letters that are between points #1 and #2, but not including points #1 and #2.
Navigate to your survey in ScoutSpace. In the top right hand corner, find the More button indicated by three dots. Click "Survey Settings". Scroll down to Map Layer ID.
Paste the Sequence into this box. Hit Save at the bottom of the screen.
Navigate back to survey and find the Google My Maps laid over your survey.
Toggle this new layer on/off in the Layers key in the bottom left of the Map. It will be called "External Map Layer".
