Property groups offer a multifaceted function with ScoutSpace to allow you to customize your survey in a way that caters to your client's needs. By selecting buildings and categorizing them, you can set these properties apart and offer your client the data they are looking for.
Start by click the three dots in the upper right corner of the survey. Navigate to Property Groups.
Name of the first Property Group by typing in the custom field under Name. This is fully customizable.
Note: some examples of Property groups are: Sublease, Direct; Proposed Property, Under Construction; Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3; Class A, Class B; or Primary or Secondary
Click on the black rectangle under Color to choose from the color picker. A gradient of color will show and allow you to choose a color. You can also type in the RGB, HSL, or #HEX code to color match your or your client's brand standards. Choose from the Recent colors to find a color you have already used. Click Create when you are finished filling in the groups details. Continue adding Property Groups until you are finished.
Edit your existing Property Group names or colors by changing the data and clicking Update. Delete a Property Group by clicking Delete next to the respective Group.
Click outside of the Pop-up to exit.
Navigate to back to the map and find the black banner "No Group Assigned" on each of the properties now. Click the Edit button on the property you'd like to add into a group. Select which Property Group from the drop down menu. Click Save.
Continue this for all the properties you'd like to group.
To fulfill this task quickly, navigate to Edit Properties. Navigate to the Properties Tab. Locate the column labeled "Group" and select a group from the drop down menu for each Properties. When you close out of Edit Properties, all properties should now be color coded.
The property pins on the map will reflect the color of the property's group.
