Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your ScreenCloud Account Login

Set up an authenticator app to add an extra layer of security to your ScreenCloud Arc login

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your ScreenCloud account. Once set up, logging in requires both your password and a one-time code from an authenticator app on your phone, so your account stays protected even if your password is ever compromised.

How to Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication

You can turn on MFA from your account's Security settings.

1. Access Your Security Settings

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Open your Settings menu and go to Security.

2. Verify Your Identity

  1. Select Set up authenticator app.

  2. Check your email for a verification code.

  3. Enter the code from your email into the box on your screen.

Tip: If you don't see the email, check your Spam or Junk folder.

3. Connect Your Authenticator App

  1. Open your preferred authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or 1Password) on your phone.

  2. Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code shown on your screen.

  3. Your authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code.

  4. Enter that code into the box on your computer and select Confirm.

What to Expect After Setup

Logging In

The next time you log in, you'll be asked for a fresh code from your authenticator app. Open the app, read the current code, and enter it to finish logging in.

Turning Off MFA

If you ever need to turn this off, return to your Security settings and select Disable.
