Setting Up the World Clock App
World Clock is a Layout app and cannot be added to a Collection.
Adding via a Layout
Open Layouts from the left-hand menu.
Click the Layout Apps tab at the top of the page.
Scroll to Explore Apps for Layouts and find the World Clock card.
Click anywhere on the card to open its preview window.
With the preview window open, click +Create in the top-right corner.
Configuring the app
Setting | Description |
Name | The name of your World Clock app instance, for example "Global Hubs." |
Clock Style | Analogue, Digital 24-hour, or Digital am/pm. |
Cities | Add up to six cities to display. Location 1 is required; Locations 2–6 are optional. |
Click Save New App. A confirmation message displays: "App instance created successfully." Click Got it to close it.
Showing the World Clock App on a Screen
World Clock is a Layout app, so it reaches a screen through the Layout it's added to.
Go to Screens and select the screen you want to update.
Open the screen's settings panel.
Adjust its Layout setting to the Layout containing your World Clock app.

FAQ
Can I add World Clock to a Collection?
No. World Clock is only available as a Layout app and cannot be added via a Collection.
The app can't find my city — what should I do?
Make sure you've spelled the city correctly. You can also add the city name followed by a comma and the state or country — for example, "Paris, France" — to help the app find the right location. If it's still unable to find your city, contact support.
How are the clocks ordered?
The clocks are shown left to right in the order you enter them when adding your locations. To change the order, change the order you select cities in Locations 1–6 in the app settings.
How long is the World Clock app shown for?
World Clock is added to a Layout, so it displays for a fixed 12 seconds. See Adding Apps to Collections and Layouts for how display duration works across Collections and Layouts.
How often is the World Clock app updated?
The World Clock app updates in real time.
Does the World Clock app work offline?
The World Clock time zone data is cached for one day.
