Go to the player page for one of the videos that you just created and click the Share button.

Click the Create link button to create a new sharing link.

Give your link a friendly name to keep things organized. This can be handy if there are lots of different links in a project.

Check require password if you want to add password protection to your link. If you add a password, it’s a best practice to distribute it separately.

Set what people with the link can do. The most common set of permissions that people grant is the option to add comments and view other people's comments.

  • Add comments will give reviewers permission to add feedback and annotations.

  • View other people’s comments will let reviewers see all of the feedback that others have added.

  • Download files will grant reviewers permission to download the original files that were uploaded and any web viewable versions that have been created.

Leaving all of the boxes unchecked means that reviewers will only be able to see the media you’ve shared.

Set an expiration date if you want to make sure people can’t access the link after a certain point.

Click Save when you are done setting the permissions for your link.

Share your review link

You'll be taken to a page that lists all of the links pointing to that video. There are a couple of different ways to share the link.

Click the copy button to copy the address of your sharing link to your computer’s clipboard. Now you can paste the link into an email, your project management app, or an empty browser tab.

Clicking the envelope icon will open your default email program and it will create a new message with the link. From here you can email the link out to your contacts.

Finally, you can see what the reviewer experience will be like by clicking the review link (in the case above it says Getting started).  This is a handy way to double check that you've everything looks good before you send it off to clients. When you're just getting started, it's also a nice way to get a handle on what the client experience will be like.

Review links are a very flexible sharing option. Instead of creating a link that points to a single version, you can create a link that points to an entire project or a link that points to a folder and all the sub-folders that it contains.

What's next?

Now it's time to learn how to add comments and annotations.
