Teacher Reports
On the Scribo homepage click on any of your existing activities. You will then see the student work in this activity.
For each student, you are able to generate a teacher report. To do so, go to this menu and click more, then go down here and click report. Scribo will now generate a report of your students’ performance.
In the report you’ll first see the manual feedback you left as a teacher. To learn more about leaving manual feedback, you can check our other video on Writing Checks and Teacher Feedback.
You’ll also get a summary of all the feedback generated using Scribo’s AI, as well as a breakdown of the feedback per paragraph.
You can also customize how concise or comprehensive this report will be. On the right you can choose from the three presets.
By default, the generated report is on standard.
For a more concise report, you can select the summary preset.
For a more comprehensive one, you can select the detailed preset.
If you like, you can even fine tune the specific information that will appear.
Lastly, you can change the language in the report by clicking here, and you can generate multiple reports by clicking on Class Report where you can also choose who among your students will gain access to their report
Growth Monitoring Reports
While it’s helpful to see how each student is performing individually, gaining visibility on an entire class’ growth is vital for us teachers to adapt to the students’ needs. Fortunately, you have access to Growth Monitoring Reports that give you such essential information
In a Scribo activity, go to the menu above the class list and click Growth monitoring report. On this page you have access to all the student data relating to their writing growth and performance.
You can choose to compare growth in the current activity to any previous activity in this class.
You can also show growth for all activities assigned in this class so far, or you can see your students’ writing growth across all classes or subjects.
The top area here shows a few highlights related to student growth while the table at the bottom shows a more detailed view of your students’ growth in various areas of writing. Each row represents a student while each column is a specific area of writing.
You can click the headers on the different columns if you would like to sort the table based on specific areas. But more importantly, you can see how much a student’s skills have grown, declined, or stayed in each area of writing based on the arrows and numbers seen here.
There you go! With growth monitoring and teacher reports, you will be much better equipped to guide your students through their writing journey.
