You might already be excited to try all of Scribo’s cool features. But before that, let’s first make sure you’re part of your classes.
In this video and guide, let’s learn how to Join a Class on Scribo Writing.
There are a few ways to join a class.
If you don’t have a Scribo Writing account yet, your teacher can send you an email that looks like this. If you haven’t received this email in your inbox or spam folder, you can reach out to your teacher and politely ask for the email.
Once you have this email all you have to do is click this link, and it will lead you to the sign up page. Once here type in your Full Name, your School Email Address, and your chosen Password.
Then, tick the box beside I’m not a robot, and follow the instructions it will give you. After that, make sure to read through Scribo Writing’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by clicking here, then tick the box next to it once you’ve understood.
When all that’s done you can now click Sign Up. You will then be instantly logged into Scribo Writing and enrolled in your teacher’s class.
However, If you already have a Scribo Writing account, joining a class is much simpler. First, login to your Scribo Writing account. On the homepage go to the menu on the right and click Join.
In the provided space, enter the 6 character class key of the class you would like to join. If you do not know the class key, you may politely ask your teacher for the key.
Once you’ve typed out the key click OK, then you will see a confirmation that you’ve successfully joined the class. If the new class is not yet appearing on your homepage, simply refresh your web browser and your newly joined class should appear.
There you go! Once you’ve joined a class, you can now participate in writing activities, and use Scribo Writing to its full potential.
