If your struggle to type on a keyboard or maybe prefer speaking their ideas out loud, enabling Speech-to-Text in a writing activity may be just what they need to get going with their writing.
On the Scribo Writing Homepage, click the three dots icon beside an activity then select Edit Activity
In the activity settings, go to the Student Experience tab and enable Allow students to use speech-to-text.
Once you're done, click Save and exit at the bottom.
With this enabled, students can now click the speech-to-text button on the menu when accomplishing the writing activity.
There you go! Your students should now be able to speak their essays instead of typing them manually on Scribo.
