Using Vision on your mobile device makes it easy to snap a photo and get feedback on handwritten work.
In this video and guide, let’s learn how to Check Handwritten Work on Vision for mobile.
On your mobile device, open the Vision mobile app or use a web browser and go to scribolearning.com/vision.You will then see the Vision login page.
From here, you may log in using your username and password or via single sign-on if your Scribo account is linked to a google email address.
Once logged in, you will see all your different classes. Select a class then find the writing activity where you would like to upload handwritten work.
From here, select Take Photo. While you have the option of typing in your answer if you prefer, You can upload handwritten work by clicking the Take Photo button and Vision will open the camera on your device.
When taking a photo, follow these steps to ensure that Vision’s handwriting detection accurately imports your work:
Take the photo in a well lit environment.
Take a portrait photo not a sideways photo.
Make sure to capture the entire page with none of the edges cut off.
Only include the handwritten work in the photo. Remove any unnecessary pages or objects.
Only take a photo of one page at a time. If the handwritten work is more than one page long, you can photos of the next page after you have photographed the first one.
As much as possible, ensure that the page is neat and tidy. Avoid unnecessary marks on the paper.
Lastly, it would be best to have the essay written in clear black ink.
After taking the photo, you can add photos of more pages if necessary. Otherwise, you can simply click Finish. Vision will now take a few moments to analyse and import the handwritten work.
Once it’s done, you will see the AI generated feedback which contains a general assessment as well as suggestions for improvement.
You can also scroll down to Scribo Feedback to get more detailed feedback about specific writing errors. Simply click See my detailed feedback. This now shows your errors in specific areas of writing.
To go through each error, simply click Next on the bottom right. For each error, Vision gives you suggestions on how to correct them. If you agree with these suggestions, select Accept suggestion to apply this change to your work. Once your done reviewing all the feedback, click Finish.
Lastly, on the Feedback page, you can also click Download my Feedback to download a detailed pdf report of your performance in the activity. You can share this with your parents to keep them updated on your progress or you can keep this as an offline copy of the report.
