Overview
The Communication Settings page in Scrypt HQ allows pharmacy users to manage and customise all messaging-related preferences, including automated reminders, message templates, and communication preferences. This central hub ensures consistency and control across all messaging workflows.
How to Access
Log in to Scrypt HQ.
From the top navigation bar, click Communications.
In the top-right corner, click ⚙️Settings to open the Communication Settings page, or Click Here.
Key Sections of the Communication Preferences Page
Pharmacy Preferences (used for Scrypt Reminder Service)
Located in a collapsible module at the top of the page.
These Settings include:
Toggle all automated messages on or off for the pharmacy.
Set primary and secondary channels (e.g., SMS, Email, App).
Choose schedule time for automated message delivery.
Group similar messages within an X-day window to avoid over-messaging the same customer.
Custom Message Templates
This tab allows you to view, create, and manage all custom message templates.
Click Create a Custom Message to build new SMS, Email, or App-based templates.
Templates can be sorted by Name or Created Date.
Each template has a Type, such as:
Custom – Created by your team to use for manual or bulk messaging.
Report – Used when sending doctor report cover letters for structured documents and services like leave certificates or medication lists.
Default – System templates used for platform functions (e.g., welcome messages and Scrypt Reminders). These are not directly selectable for manual or bulk messaging but can be duplicated as new Custom Templates for further control.
Scrypt Reminders Templates
This tab shows all message templates tied to the Scrypt Reminders service (automated prescription reminders).
For each reminder message, you can:
Toggle On/Off to include/exclude that message in your automated workflow.
Click Edit Trigger to change the lead time based on the patient’s Days on Hand (DOH).
Click Edit Template to modify the message content.
