Overview
The Communication Settings page in Scrypt HQ is where you manage all messaging preferences, including automated reminders, message templates, and communication channels. It is the central hub for keeping your messaging consistent and under your control.
How to access
Log in to Scrypt HQ.
From the top navigation bar, click Communications.
In the top-right corner, click Settings to open the Communication Settings page, or go there directly.
Key sections
Pharmacy Preferences (used for the Scrypt Reminder service)
These settings sit in a collapsible module at the top of the page. From here you can:
Toggle all automated messages on or off for the pharmacy.
Set the primary and secondary channels, for example SMS, email, or app.
Choose the schedule time for automated message delivery.
Group similar messages within a set number of days to avoid over-messaging the same customer.
Custom Message Templates
This tab lets you view, create, and manage all custom message templates.
Click Create a Custom Message to build a new SMS, email, or app-based template.
Sort templates by Name or Created Date.
Each template has a Type:
Custom: Created by your team for manual or bulk messaging.
Report: Used for doctor report cover letters and structured documents such as leave certificates or medication lists.
Default: System templates for platform functions such as welcome messages and Scrypt Reminders. These cannot be selected directly for manual or bulk messaging, but you can duplicate them as new Custom templates.
Scrypt Reminders Templates
This tab shows all message templates tied to the Scrypt Reminders service, the automated prescription reminders. For each reminder message, you can:
Toggle on or off to include or exclude that message from your automated workflow.
Click Edit Trigger to change the lead time based on the patient's Days on Hand (DOH).
Click Edit Template to change the message content.
