Tasks - Overview

Your pharmacy’s central hub for managing day-to-day activities, follow-ups, and help your teams stay on top of responsibilities.

What Are Tasks?

Tasks in Scrypt HQ serve as reminders and actionable items for your team. These may be automatically created by the system or manually added by staff. Highly used Task types include:

  • General - For any time of reminder or actionable item

  • Medication orders submitted via digital channels (Soon moving to Orders page only)

  • Ad hoc or recurring reminders for individual patients, such as:

    • Delivery reminders

    • High-cost items

    • Special orders

    • 7CPA follow-ups

    • Order cycle tracking

  • Uncategorised items


Accessing the Tasks Page

To view your tasks:

Open Scrypt HQ → Click on Tasks in the navigation menu (left-hand side).

Quickly filter down the list of tasks by using the filter options:

  • Task Type (e.g. Message, Reminder, Order)

  • Patient Grouping

  • Due Date

  • Keyword Search (Search by patient name or note content)


Action Buttons

Each task displays quick-action buttons to help manage it:

Green Tick

Mark the task as completed and remove it from the list

Settings Cog

View/edit task settings or details

Yellow Snooze

Snooze the task – choose a new due date/time

Red Bin

Delete the task without marking it as complete

Blue Arrow (eScripts only)

Sends eScript token directly to your Dispense Queue


Creating New Tasks

Tasks can be created manually from a patient profile within Scrypt HQ.

Viewing Actioned Tasks

Tasks already actioned can be viewed by clicking on the Actioned tab above the the Tasks table. This will allow you to view and filter for actioned Tasks and when they were completed.
