Tasks overview

An overview of the Tasks page in ScryptHQ, including task types, filters, and quick-action buttons.

What are tasks?

Tasks in ScryptHQ are reminders and actionable items for your team. They can be created automatically by the system or added manually by staff. Common task types include:

  • General: any reminder or actionable item.

  • Medication orders submitted via digital channels. These are moving to the Orders page only.

  • Ad hoc or recurring reminders for individual patients, such as:

    • Delivery reminders

    • High-cost items

    • Special orders

    • 7CPA follow-ups

    • Order cycle tracking

  • Uncategorised items.


Access the Tasks page

To view your tasks, open ScryptHQ and click Tasks in the left-hand navigation menu, or open the Tasks page directly.

Filter the list quickly using these options:

  • Task Type, for example Message, Reminder, or Order.

  • Patient Grouping

  • Due Date

  • Keyword Search, by patient name or note content.


Action buttons

Each task shows quick-action buttons to help you manage it.

Icon

Action

Green Tick

Mark the task as completed and remove it from the list.

Settings Cog

View or edit task settings and details.

Yellow Snooze

Snooze the task and choose a new due date and time.

Red Bin

Delete the task without marking it as complete.

Blue Arrow (eScripts only)

Send the eScript token directly to your Dispense Queue.


Create new tasks

You can create tasks manually from a patient profile in ScryptHQ. For instructions, see Manage patient notes and schedule tasks.


View actioned tasks

To view tasks you have already actioned, click the Actioned tab above the Tasks table. From there you can view and filter actioned tasks and see when they were completed.
