Deleting your Scrypt Mobile account

How to delete a Scrypt Mobile account, from the app or via Scrypt HQ, and what data is removed.

Overview

Deleting a Scrypt Mobile account is useful if you want to sign up again with a new username and password, or link your profile to a different account or pharmacy.

When you delete your account, your personal, medication, and ordering data remain safely stored with your pharmacy. Only the following are removed:

  • locally stored eScripts

  • locally stored configuration settings

  • login credentials and passwords for the app

This protects your sensitive information while letting you start fresh.


For customers: delete from the Scrypt Mobile app

You must be logged in to the account you want to delete.

  1. Open and log in to the Scrypt Mobile app.

  2. Tap More > Personal.

  3. Select Delete Account.

  4. Tap Confirm.

Your account is deleted and you are logged out of the app automatically.


For pharmacy teams: delete via Scrypt HQ

Pharmacy staff can remove a customer's Scrypt Mobile account from within Scrypt HQ.

  1. Open Scrypt HQ and go to the customer's profile.

  2. Confirm the Scrypt Mobile status shows Active.

  3. Click the Active button. A confirmation window appears.

  4. Select Delete Account.

  5. Click Yes, Delete Account.

  6. A confirmation notification confirms the account was deleted.
