Searching by Name
To look up a customer, simply begin typing their name into the Client Search bar at the top of any Scrypt page.
The search supports partial name searches
You can type first name or last name in any order
Press ENTER to complete the search.
If multiple customers match your search, you’ll see a list of possible profiles. You can identify each customer by:
Patient Name
Patient Address
Date of Birth
Patient Status
Group
Click the correct customer to open their profile.
Scanning a Dispense Label
You can also search by scanning a dispense label barcode.
Dispense systems use a unique symbol before the script number (e.g. Z Software uses
*followed by the script number, like*12234)When you scan this into Client Search, an exact match will occur.
If an exact match is found, you will be taken straight to the customer’s Communications page so you can send an SMS quickly.
Shortcut to the Comms Page
When viewing search results, you can click the Comms button on any customer row.
This will take you directly to their Communications page for faster SMS sending.
