Estimated prices aren't showing in the Scrypt Mobile app

What to check when a customer's estimated script prices, or previously paid prices, stop appearing in Scrypt Mobile.

This guide helps when estimated script prices, or the price a customer paid previously, were showing in the Scrypt Mobile app but have stopped appearing. In most cases this is because the price display setting has been turned off in your pharmacy's Scrypt HQ settings.


Most common cause

Estimated prices in Scrypt Mobile are controlled by a single pharmacy setting. If that setting is switched off, prices disappear for all of your customers in the app, including prices that were visible the day before.

How to turn estimated prices back on

  1. Go to the settings page in Scrypt HQ: https://hq.scrypt.com.au/app/config/pharmacy.

  2. Find the option Show estimated prices in Scrypt Mobile for customers.

  3. Enable the setting and save.

  4. Ask the customer to close and reopen the app, or pull to refresh, so the prices reload.

Good to know: Prices shown in Scrypt Mobile are estimates only and may differ from the final amount charged at the pharmacy. This setting applies to your whole pharmacy, so turning it off or on affects every customer connected to you.

If prices still aren't showing

  1. Confirm the setting saved correctly and the page reloaded without an error.

  2. Check the script or medication itself is visible in the app. If it isn't, see A patient can't see a script or medication in the Scrypt Mobile app.

  3. Have the customer confirm they are connected to the correct pharmacy and are signed in to the right account.
