Generate script requests

How to batch prescription requests for doctors or patients in ScryptHQ before scripts become owing.

Written by Scrypt Support

The Script Request report lets you batch prescription requests for doctors or groups, saving time and improving cash flow by reducing the number of owing prescriptions. You can configure script requests to identify scripts that are running low before they become owing.

Generate script requests

Step 1: Open the Script Request report

Step 2: Select your filters

Select the relevant Categories, Groups, and Repeats Remaining.

Step 3: Generate the report

Select Generate Report.

Step 4: Export the requests

Export script requests to email or print, formatted for the doctor (patient scripts listed per doctor) or for the patient (scripts required listed per patient). You can add notes to the requests, for example "previous script expired on DD/MM/YYYY" or "previous script written was not on the PBS, can an authority script be written".

The simplest way to manage requests is to email them to the pharmacy email address, then forward each set of requests to the corresponding doctor. If the doctor does not have an email address, or prefers faxes, you can use a fax-to-email service.
