Use Advanced Search and bulk communications to notify customers

Build a patient list with Advanced Search and schedule a bulk SMS to notify customers of your services.

Build your patient list with Advanced Search

1. Open Advanced Search

Click Advanced in Search Client, or open Advanced Search.

2. Select Dispense Search

3. Set your search criteria

Set the criteria for your list. We recommend setting Has Mobile to True and setting Last Visit From to around 12 months.

4. Review your list

Click Search to review your list of patients.

5. Start the bulk SMS

When you are happy with the list, click Schedule Bulk SMS.

Schedule a message to your patient list

1. Choose the date and time

Select a date and time. A blank schedule sends the message now.

2. Write your message

Use a custom template or write your message. Use the tags to personalise the message.

It is best practice to include an option to unsubscribe. Consider adding "OptOut: STOP", which we handle automatically, or use the <<OptOutLink>> tag at the end of your message.

3. Remove invalid numbers

If a warning appears, remove invalid numbers.

4. Double-check the details

Double-check your scheduled date and time and your message content.

5. Schedule the message

Click Schedule Bulk SMS.

6. Confirm it is scheduled

If you see this confirmation toast, your message is scheduled to send.

7. Review upcoming comms

Scroll down to review or edit your Upcoming Comms or Bulk Comms History.
