Order Cycles are internal prompts that remind the dispensary team to prepare an order of medications that are due or running low for a specific customer. When enabled, Order Cycles automatically suggest which medications may be neededโsaving time and reducing the risk of missed repeats.
๐ง How to Set Up an Order Cycle
Open the Customer Profile
Navigate to the customer's profile for whom you'd like to set up an Order Cycle.
โEdit Contact and Communication Details
Under Contact and Communication Details, check if the customer's Order Cycle status is marked as Active or Inactive.
Click Edit to make changes.
โConfigure the Order Cycle
โ Once configured, a task will automatically be added to your TASKS list on the calculated due date.
๐ How to Process an Order Cycle
View Task Reminder
When an Order Cycle is due, it will appear in your TASKS page as a reminder.Initiate the Order
Click the Order Cycle task or the Create & prepare a new order option.
You will be redirected to the customerโs Orders tab, where a suggested medication list will appear.
Add / Remove any items you deem relevant to the order, then click Create Order
โDispense the Suggested Medications
Update the Order
After dispensing, update each medication's status or click Create Order to finalise.
Send the customer a message (e.g. SMS) to notify them that their medications are ready.
Then click Update Order to complete the process.Mark the Task as Complete
Return to the TASKS page and tick the green โ to confirm the Order Cycle has been actioned.
The next Order Cycle will now be scheduled based on your chosen frequency.

๐ What if I Action the Order Cycle on a Different Day?
No problem! When processing an Order Cycle, Scrypt will give you the option to:
Reset the cycle based on the date the task was completed
Continue with the original schedule
Choose the option that best fits the customer's medication needs.
