Use this when a customer asks, in person or by SMS reply, to opt out of SMS messaging.
Opting out only blocks automated SMS reminders (for example, Scrypt reminders) and bulk SMS communications. You can still send ad hoc SMS messages to this customer.
Opt a customer out in Scrypt.HQ
Search for the customer and open their profile.
Select Manage Contact or Manage Primary Contact, depending on the profile setup.
Toggle the circle next to Opt-out of Scrypt reminders (this overrides all other settings).
Close the Manage Contact or Manage Primary Contact window.
Confirm the customer profile now displays the status Opted Out.
The opt-out setting is active when the toggle is green.
