This strategy can be used to help streamline contacting customers who are waiting for medications to arrive in the pharmacy or be compounded

Overview

Medication Ready for Collection is a strategy used to help streamline the process of contacting your customers who are waiting for medication to arrive in pharmacy, or be compounded. This is done by utilising message templates and sending via regular communication, or Bulk Communications.

  • Saves time - Reduce the need for repetitive phone calls

  • Messages are recorded - Every message is stored in the customers profile with Timestamps.

  • Preferred method of notification - Customers generally prefer an SMS for this type of notification.

Getting Started

Setting up the Custom Message

  1. Log in to your Scrypt.HQ.

  2. Navigate to the Communications page.

  3. Click on Settings.

  4. When in the Communication Settings, Click on the Custom Messages tab

  5. Click on Create Custom Message

  6. Type in a Template Name that you will recognise e.g. Medication ready for collection

  7. Add a Subject Line (optional) - Used if you send this via email

  8. Write your message body in Content.

  9. Submit

Example Message

Hi <<FirstName>>, your medication is now ready for collection at <<PharmacyName>>. If you have any questions, you can reply to this text or call us on <<PharmacyPhone>>. Thanks.


Usage Instructions

When a medication has been completed and ready for the customer to collect:

  1. Navigate to the Customers Profile

  2. Underneath the customers name, click Comms

  3. Scroll down and Select your Medication ready for collection message. This will pre-fill the message body

  4. Edit the message body if required (Optional)

  5. Click Send Message Now
