Who is "Unknown Patient Scrypt"?
Unknown Patient Scrypt is a default profile set up to receive all incoming SMS messages or emails from numbers and addresses that are not stored in your dispense program.
What it means when you receive a message in this profile
The Scrypt platform relies on your dispense profile information to identify the customer. If the mobile number or email address is not recorded in your dispense system, Scrypt cannot link the message to a customer and links it to this default profile instead. The profile is named Unknown Patient Scrypt so you can decide what needs to happen next.
How to respond to this message
The Unknown Patient Scrypt profile is a receiving profile only, so you cannot reply to messages directly. You have two options. Record the mobile number in the customer's dispense profile so future messages arrive under their profile, or respond now using the Bulk Communications tool. The steps for both are below.
1. Find the mobile number attached to the message
In the communication inbox, you can find the source number inside the speech bubble of that message.
In the Unknown Patient Scrypt profile, go to the Comms section, scroll down to the communication history, and find the speech bubble of that message. The source number or email address appears there.
2. Send a message using the Bulk Communications tool
Open the message from Unknown Patient Scrypt and copy the source mobile number from the chat bubble.
Open the Communication tab, then select Bulk Communication.
Manually add the number and click the plus sign to add it to the list. Type your reply, then click Schedule Bulk SMS.
Success. The message sends within 5 minutes and can be verified in the Communications Sent tab.
