Troubleshooting SmartHealth terminal connection issue after Z updates

If you are having trouble processing payments through your SmartHealth terminal here is a quick troubleshooting step to get your terminals back on track as fast as possible.

Check your integration settings have persisted in Z Office

  • Open Z Office

  • Select Settings

    • Store Settings

  • When the System Settings page opens click the Integration tab and ensure Scrypt is enabled

  • Scroll down until you see Scrypt Pay

  • Ensure "Enable Scrypt Pay" is checked

  • Ensure "API Version" is set to V2 - This is the most common cause of issue.

  • Check both your API Key and API Secret are populated with hidden values

    • If your API Key or Secret is missing get in contact with Scrypt Support via your normal channel and we will assist you in accessing these details.

  • Click SAVE and close the settings window.

Important final step!

  • Reopen the settings window, scroll down to Scrypt Pay, click Validate then click Save a second time.

Your terminal should now be running as expected
