Not receiving SMS? Check your spam folders

How to find Scrypt Pay SMS that have been filtered into spam or unknown-sender folders on Android and iPhone.

Written by Scrypt Support

If you are not receiving Scrypt Pay SMS, they may have been filtered into a spam or unknown-senders folder. Follow the steps for your device to restore them to your inbox.

Android

  1. Open the Messages app.

  2. Tap the three-dot menu (or profile icon) at the top right.

  3. Select Spam & blocked.

  4. If you see a message from SCRYPTPAY, open it and select Not spam.

iPhone (SMS)

If Filter Unknown Senders is on, find your message by tapping Filters at the top left of the Messages app and selecting Unknown Senders.

To turn this filter on or off, go to Settings > Apps > Messages, scroll to Message Filtering, and toggle Filter Unknown Senders.

iPhone (email)

To check your junk email, open the Mail app, tap Mailboxes at the top left, and select Junk.

Preventing future issues

  • Add the SCRYPTPAY number to your contacts.

  • Mark SCRYPTPAY messages as Not spam where your app allows it.

  • Check your SMS app settings for any blocking rules.

Payment code troubleshooting

I didn't receive my payment code. Confirm the pharmacy has your correct phone number, check your network connection, and check your spam or blocked folders as above.

My payment code returns an error. Check you entered it correctly with no extra spaces. The code may have expired or already been used, so contact the pharmacy for a new one.

How do I know the code worked? Look for a confirmation message in the app, or check your account's transaction history.
