This SOP outlines the temporary process for converting GoHighLevel (GHL) customer accounts into Search Atlas standard accounts for exclusive access to the Top of Google (ToG) Challenge. It ensures technical precision and transparent communication with GHL to preserve partnership trust and avoid billing disruptions.
⚠ Important: Billing remains unchanged. Accounts are only modified temporarily for event access.

1.1 Create a Conversion List
During the official ToG process, maintain an accurate list of GHL accounts to convert.
Use the shared Google Sheet: GHL Accounts Updated During ToG for tracking.
1.2 Notify GHL via Slack
Send a transparent message using this template:
Hi GHL Team,
We've temporarily made a change to the following accounts to provide them access to the Authority Building module for our Top of Google Challenge. This is a temporary change, and the accounts will be reverted to their original GHL status in two weeks, after the challenge is complete.
We will send you a list of the accounts again once they have been reverted.

2.1 Remove GHL Customizations
Remove all whitelabel settings tied to the GHL platform.
Disassociate from the GHL parent account
2.2 Plan & Access Changes
Change the plan from GHL to Starter.
Add dummy payment method using code #35320.
Upgrade account for ToG Challenge access.
2.3 Inform the Customer
Instruct them to log in at SearchAtlas.com.
First, log in and use the password reset function.

3.1 Revert Account Settings
After two weeks, revert the account back to GHL:
Re-apply whitelabel settings
Re-associate with the GHL parent account
Reset plan to the original GHL tier
3.2 Notify GHL
Send the final Slack message confirming the reversion of each account.
Maintain an open thread to confirm transparency and partnership alignment.
