How do I change my Transcription Language?

This article will help you change the default Transcription Language in your account, allowing you to transcribe videos in other languages.

What You Will Need

  1. A Searchie Account

Step 1 - Click the flag icon

After logging in, click on the "Flag Icon" in the top right corner. The flag you see represents the current Transcription Language.

Step 2 - Default Language dropdown

From the Transcriptions Language page, open the "Default Language" dropdown and select your new Transcription Language.

Step 3 - Save your new language

Click "Save Language" once you select the desired language.

NOTE: The new language choice will only reflect on future uploads.

What You Can Do Now

  1. Add to your Custom Vocabulary

  2. Configure your Player settings

  3. Edit some Transcriptions
