Who this is for
This article is for Searcle customers who need to change content that is already live on their AI subdomain.
Use this guide when:
Product details, pricing, or messaging change
You spot an error or outdated statement
You want to improve clarity or wording
You need to adjust CTAs or positioning
You do not need technical or SEO experience to edit published content safely.
What this article helps you avoid
Editing live content can feel risky.
This article helps you:
Know what is safe to edit
Understand where edits happen
Avoid breaking links or publishing mistakes
Feel confident updating content as your business evolves
Where editing happens
All edits to live content happen in the Content Hub.
Specifically:
Open Content Hub
Go to Published content
Only content in the Published section is live on your AI subdomain and editable by you.
What you can safely edit
You can safely edit any user-facing content, including:
Headings and body text
Product descriptions and feature explanations
Pricing language or examples
Messaging and positioning
Calls to action (CTAs) and link text
Edits update the existing page, not a new one. URLs remain the same.
What you should not edit (unless instructed)
Some content is managed by Searcle and should not be edited unless support explicitly tells you to.
Do not edit:
Technical or system-managed files
Crawl, indexing, or discovery settings
If you’re unsure whether something is safe to edit:
If it’s visible text meant for readers → safe
If it looks technical or structural → leave it alone and contact support
