Unscrew and remove original jug cap. Keep cap for when oil jug needs to be disposed of.
Insert tube attached to the underside of the quick connect cap into the oil jug and screw cap onto the jug.
Insert quick connect nipple into the end of the tube coming from the shredder cutting head.
Insert the nipple into the attachment on the top of cap. You will hear a click to ensure the connection is tight.
Your machine is now ready for oil. Periodically check to ensure quick connect connection is tight.
To release connection, firmly squeeze the two metal tabs on each side of the connection point. The nipple will release.
