To cut down on manual entry into the program, S2Vendor has a feature that allows the user to upload an Excel file containing vendors.
To upload the .xls doc:
1. Click on the "Import" button between the "Add Vendor" and "Export" buttons.
2. Click on the "Download" button, and populate the template with the vendor name, relationship owner, relationship owner email address, and business unit.
3. Most users of the program have better results when they communicate with team members and vendors using verbiage from the communication portal. Step two on the import process screen provides a link to the help section that provides this information.
4. Select a workflow for the imported vendors. This will determine what if any custom questionnaire(s) they receive during the course of their evaluation. You can also choose to import without selecting a workflow. This means that the vendor will wait in a Not Started status until a workflow is manually selected from the vendor profile page.
5. Click on "Browse," select the completed template, and then click on "Upload."
