S2Vendor will facilitate all necessary communications between an organization and it's vendors. However, communicating to vendors about S2Vendor ahead of these automatic emails can go a long way in reducing confusion, frustration, and even response time. Set your VRM program up for success by preemptively introducing  S2Vendor and explaining what you need from the vendor.

We are adopting a tool called S2Vendor by SecurityStudio® to oversee our vendor risk management program. As a vendor of <Org Name>, you may receive communications from SecurityStudio on our behalf, instructing you to create an account and complete our assessment. This assessment is standard for all third-party relationships and will help ensure the safety of the information we handle both internally and for our customers. 

S2Vendor will securely collect your responses and save them year-to-year. You will be able to view your responses at any time and even reuse them. We ask for your timely cooperation on this matter and appreciate your efforts to keep our business relationship secure for everyone involved.
