In order for an individual to meet the definition of an Accredited Investor, they must have one or more of the following:
One of the following FINRA administered licences: Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 65 (Investment Adviser Representative), or Series 82 (Private Securities Offerings Representative).
Income exceeding $200,000, or income with a spouse (or spousal equivalent) exceeding $300,000, each of the past two years and expect the same this year.
Net worth, individually or jointly with a spouse (or spousal equivalent), exceeding $1 million.
In order for an entity to meet the definition of an Accredited Investor, the entity must either (1) be owned entirely by accredited investors or (2) have assets exceeding $5M.
