The volume of confirmed investments sometimes exceeds the allocation available on SeedInvest. When this happens, the fundraising campaign on SeedInvest subsequently becomes oversubscribed. Users may still confirm and complete investments into these fundraising campaigns, but they will be placed on a waitlist.

We notify users on the waitlist depending on whether the company and SeedInvest can accommodate their investments; please note that the process of finalizing the acceptance of any oversubscriptions and determining final admittance from the waitlist may take up to three weeks after the campaign end date. For those users who do not make it off of the waitlist for a particular fundraising campaign, their investments will be automatically canceled and any funded amounts will be refunded, inclusive of the transaction fee. The transaction fee is not refundable for users electing to cancel their investments on their own prior to the automatic cancellation.
