Stock in Sellar

Sellar manages three stock values for each of your product items: Total, Committed and Available.

  • Available is the number which gets used on your trade store. Your customers cannot order any more than this number at that particular moment (unless you have ‘Allow backorders’ enabled).

  • Committed represents the total number of product items current residing in Sellar orders in the requested state. This ensures the stock gets reserved for customers upon placement of their order.

  • Total is the sum of these two numbers.

Stock in Breww

Breww will update your stock levels based on the settings of your Sellar integration.

Selecting ‘Import all orders’ means Breww will know about the committed stock in order to prevent it from being sold on other sales platforms whilst it is pending in an order request on Sellar.

Selecting ‘Only import orders that have been confirmed in Sellar’ means Breww won’t know about stock which is currently committed on Sellar. Whilst this might not prevent overselling on other sales platforms, Sellar will always ensure your customers won’t be able to order more stock than is available on our platform.
