How Delivery works in Sellar
Use Sellar to optimise the best delivery service for you and your business, whether that be through direct delivery, courier service, haulier or collecting direct from the supplier.
Depending on the delivery postcode of your business, each supplier’s storefront will assign which delivery service or services they can offer.
Below are a list of each delivery options available on Sellar.
Direct
Your business is located within the supplier’s direct delivery area.
Sellar Market is a great tool to discover which suppliers deliver to your business.
Once logged into your Sellar account, navigate to Sellar Market from the tool bar located on the left hand side.
The postcode from your delivery address will automatically populate which suppliers deliver direct to your business.From here you can scroll across to view the suppliers you can order direct with.
For business with more than 14 suppliers who can offer direct delivery to your venue, you can click view more at the end of the scroll to see the full list available to you.
Courier
Your business is outside the suppliers delivery area and items will be sent via a courier service.
Suppliers who cannot deliver to you direct will be able to send your order via a courier service.
Your delivery postcode will assign your delivery information to a Courier or Haulier service.
Once you have located the supplier’s storefront you wish to order from, your Delivery Option or options will be visible under the basket on the right hand side.
Any delivery fees will be listed next to the price of the item you wish to order.
Some suppliers offer free delivery tiers by basket size or container type.
Haulier
The size of your order has been assigned to a pallet.
Courier deliveries will be assigned to Haulier per each supplier’s recommendation dependant on the size of your order.
If you are unable to receive courier deliveries and would prefer your order to arrive on a pallet, or vice versa, we recommend adding a comment for the supplier upon checkout.
Collection
You are able to collect your order from the supplier’s location.
When suppliers are able to offer collection for your order, you will be able to select this option on their storefront under delivery options.
Courier / Haulier / Direct based will remain the default option so you will need to manually select Collection each time you order from each supplier.
Collection times will be set by each supplier during their working hours and we recommend leaving a comment for the supplier upon checkout to give an estimated time of arrival if possible.

FAQ
I want my order to be delivered to an address which isn’t my business.
We get it, sometimes someone won’t be available to receive your order during delivery hours at your businesses address or need to add a note for your delivery driver.
Add a delivery instructions to your business details - this will be displayed to suppliers on all of your new orders.
Click on your businesses name in the top left hand corner on your account
Click on business details.
Click Edit and type in the box the notes you wish to be displayed under Delivery Information.
Scroll to the button of the page and click save.
