Buyer Guide: Sign up to Sellar Credit

How to get started with Sellar Credit

What do I need?

To ensure a smooth sign-up process to Sellar Credit, please check that you meet the following requirements:

  • A Company Director must complete the sign-up. They must have an account on Sellar to carry out the sign-up process. Learn how to invite them.

  • Access to the business bank account. This can be via a mobile banking app or login details.

What if......

I'm a Group

You can still apply to Sellar Credit! but we will need to help you out. If you have more than one venue or limited company for example, your sign up will look a little different.

I'm a Sole Trader

As we swap from Hokodo to Two we have paused Soletrader sign-ups, however if you send an email to hello@sellar.io and we will let you know as soon as we do :)

Now I've got everything prepared how to do I get started and get closer to getting my Credit Limit?

Start by checking your credit limit

  1. Click the Sellar Credit banner to start. Then the 'Check your Credit Limit' button.

  2. Use the search box to look for your company. Choose the right one from the list.

  3. Tick to confirm the company and that you would like to check the Sellar Credit eligibility for it.

  4. Click to reveal your Credit Limit. (This doesn't affect your credit score)

  5. If you are happy to sign up, use 'Claim your Credit' to get started.

Continue to sign up with Two

When you onboard with Two you will be asked to do one of two things:

  • Verify your email

  • Verify with open banking

  1. Either following on from checking your credit limit, click 'Claim your credit' or use any banner for Sellar Credit to continue clicking 'Setup Your Account'

  2. Confirm you are the Director of your Company by using 'Yes Continue'. If not, you can use 'I'm not the Director' to send a link to the company director to continue to sign up.

  3. Make sure you have access to the business bank account and click 'Continue'. Then confirm the email address you wish to register with Two and click 'Submit Application'. This email will be used to log in to the Two Dashboard and for statements.

  4. The Two onboarding will open in a new tab. From here, it will ask you to either verify your email or with open banking.

If you are asked to verify your email:

  1. When you click on the link in our email, Two will send a 7-digit code to your email address.

  2. Copy the code from the email sent to you and paste or enter it into the Two verification page you found after clicking the link. Click 'Submit'

  3. To head to the final step, click 'Continue to shopping'. You will be redirected to the direct debit setup below.

If you are asked to verify with open banking:

  1. Two will ask you which type of bank account you hold. Choose either 'Business bank account or 'Personal bank account' where appropriate.

  2. Confirm by clicking the box that you agree to the T&Cs and click 'Continue' to start the verification.

  3. Two will list who can set up the account. If your name is in the list, click 'Continue'.

    1. If you are not in the list, click this button. This will allow you to text a link to someone in the list to complete the verification for you.

  4. Next, use the box on screen to search for the bank that holds your account. As you type in the box, the result will show. Click the right bank and then 'Continue'.

  5. If you have started this on a laptop or computer, you can scan the QR code on screen using your mobile phone to complete the verification.

    1. Follow the onscreen instructions.

    2. Once this is completed, you will be redirected to the direct debit setup below.

  6. If you have started this on your mobile phone, click 'Continue in your browser'.

    1. Enter the information needed for your bank. This is commonly your Account Number, Sort Code and Name/ Email Address, or you will be asked to login to your online banking portal.

    2. If prompted, open the bank's app on your mobile phone and follow the onscreen instructions.

Once your onboarding is completed, you will be redirected back to Sellar. From here, you need to choose who has access to use Sellar Credit to finish. You can find more information on this here.

  1. When you are back in Sellar we will need to go through some settings before you continue. (These can be changed at any time)

  2. First, select which users can use Sellar Credit by ticking and unticking them in the list.

  3. Lastly, click the Set up a Direct Debit with Two to make payments for your orders or skip. You can find out more information about paying your tab here.

  4. Use 'Complete' to finish the sign-up.
