Generally how does this all work? and what are the payment options?
What do I pay for and when?
All orders you place in the calendar month are added up together to make a statement.
HOKODO will send an email with a statement on the last day of the month.
This whole amount will be due 30 days after the end of the month.
For example. I pay for all of my orders placed in April at the of end the May.
How do I know how much to pay?
At the end of every month HOKODO will send you a statement to your invoice email configured in Sellar. This will contain the value due to be paid.
What are the payment options?
Direct Debit:
Automatically takes the payment for the whole statement when it's due
Never miss a payment and stops manually making payments every month
Details can be updated at any time with HOKODO
Bank Transfer:
Make a manual payment using bank details and payment reference
Option to pay a whole statement or single invoices (using different references)
Any payments may take 1 - 4 days to be reflected against your Sellar Credit Balance.
How do I clear my whole balance with a Bank Transfer?
When you make a bank transfer to clear your balance you will need to provide a Payment Reference so we know it's you.
All the information you need to do this will be in your statement that HOKODO will email over to you at the end of the month.
The email will contain:
The Bank Details to make the payment to including Name, Account Number and Sort Code.
The Payment Reference to use so we know its you making the payment
The balance that is due to be paid
The date this is due by
You can set up a Direct Debit to prevent manually paying each statement. See below for more information
How do I pay a single invoice?
You may not want to pay off your whole statement and that's fine, you can pay each invoice separately.
You will need to find each invoice in Sellar to locate the details to make a payment, find out how to do this here in the Sellar Credit Tab
At the bottom of every Sellar Credit invoice you will find the details you need to make a payment just for this invoice:
The Bank Details to make the payment to including Name, Account Number and Sort Code
The Payment Reference to use so we know its you making the payment specific to this invoice only
How do I pay down my balance early?
With Sellar Credit you can pay down your balance early at any time. You don't need to wait till it's due if you want to use more of your balance.
Use any of the methods above paying by a Bank Transfer. You can either:
Pay off your whole balance early - Use the statement Payment Reference
Pay off part of your balance early (just make a payment of whatever amount you wish) - Use the reference on your Sellar Credit Tab
Pay off a single (or multiple) invoices in separate payments - Use the Payment Reference for each invoice in each payment
If you are making payments with Direct Debit we advise a 7 day buffer window on your due date. Your statement may not be adjusted if you make a part payment in that time before it's due.
Update your payment preferences
If you would like to setup a Direct Debit or need to update your details you can do this from the HOKODO dashboard.
To add or update your Direct Debit information:
Click on your Sellar Credit balance in the top left of Sellar.
Use Manage in HOKODO to head over to the dashboard.
In the dashboard use the Settlement methods option to add or update your Direct Debit information.
