Label printing

You can print shipping labels with either a thermal label printer or a standard A4 inkjet printer.

Printing labels with a thermal printer

  • Make sure the printer is loaded with 4x6 adhesive paper

  • If you're using a zebra printer, you can only use the ZPL print option

  • If you have another type of thermal printer, you should use the PDF (4x6) option

Printing labels with an A4 inkjet printer

  • If using A4 paper you should use this option

  • Please note that A4 paper is not recommended unless using document-enclosed pouches.

Best practices for labelling kegs

Use waterproof shipping labels to prevent wet conditions or condensation on the keg from deteriorating the label. If the label becomes disfigured, scratched or falls off, the keg's shipping label can no longer be scanned and is likely to become lost.

Top tips for labelling kegs:

  • Place one label on the side of the keg and one label on the top. This is to cover the risk of one label falling off or becoming disfigured.

  • If using standard shipping labels, you can put cellotape or pallet wrap around the keg to prevent condensation, or from the label from being ripped off.

  • If using standard A4 paper, please use a documents enclosed pouch to keep the label safe. Alternatively, tape over the label with cellotape so that it creates a waterproof seal.

Troubleshooting

When I click print, nothing happens on my computer

It’s likely your browser is blocking “pop-ups” which will need to be enabled on Sellar in order for your browser to open the printing window.

Follow the quick guide for each of the following browsers to allow pop ups:

  • Chrome

  • Safari

  • Firefox
