Amazon Quick FAQs

Written by Elliot K

Here are answers to the most common questions about using Sellbrite with Amazon.

Can I use Sellbrite to list my products to Amazon?

Yes, but it's important to understand how the Amazon marketplace works. Amazon has its own product catalog with hundreds of millions of products. Sellbrite can create a listing for any product in Amazon's catalog. Your listing will then appear alongside all other merchants who sell that same product.

How do I sell products that are not currently on Amazon?

If your products don't have ASINs or aren't in the Amazon catalog, you'll need to add them directly in Amazon Seller Central first. Sellbrite only supports creating Amazon listings for products that already exist in Amazon's retail catalog.

Can I create multiple listings on Amazon for one product?

Yes. Because Amazon requires every SKU/ASIN combination to be unique, Sellbrite won't allow you to create additional listings for the same SKU. You'll need to duplicate an existing listing from Amazon and publish it with a different SKU.

Can I update my inventory in Sellbrite from Amazon?

No. Sellbrite's inventory sync works in the opposite direction — you update inventory in Sellbrite, and it pushes those updates to all connected channels, including Amazon.

Can I connect multiple Amazon accounts to Sellbrite?

Yes. There's no limit to the number of accounts you can connect, even if they're on the same marketplace or shopping cart.

Does Sellbrite integrate with Amazon FBA?

Yes. Sellbrite offers a robust integration with Fulfillment by Amazon. You can list your FBA items on other sales channels, sync your FBA stock levels to listings on any channel, and fulfill orders from any channel using your FBA inventory.

Can Sellbrite route orders from other channels back to my Amazon Seller Central account?

No. However, if you're using FBA, Sellbrite lets you use Fulfillment by Amazon to ship orders from any channel, as long as you have available inventory.

Why am I missing product descriptions after importing listings from Amazon?

Amazon only allows certain information to be shared with third-party apps. Data considered universal knowledge — such as titles and prices — is imported into Sellbrite, but images and descriptions are not. Learn more about what information Amazon does and doesn't provide here.

How do I find the product on Amazon that I want to sell?

When creating an Amazon listing in Sellbrite, use the Amazon Product Lookup feature to find the matching product in Amazon's catalog.

Does Sellbrite support Amazon Handmade?

Yes, with some limitations. Amazon's API doesn't currently support creating new Handmade listings, so you can't create Amazon Handmade listings from Sellbrite. However, Sellbrite can import your existing Handmade listings and orders, and keep inventory quantities in sync.
